JOB AD: Physician Assistant

Introduction : Aspen Medical has an exciting opportunity for PAs to partner with us in providing temporary contracted medical care in communities throughout the United States. Today’s posting will place you at the primary location of GA. This opportunity allows employees to work with the federal government, offering competitive compensation and a strong work-life balance.

Location:   United States, Georgia Department of Health

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Degree/Education : All U.S. Physician Assistant graduates must pass the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE)
  • Certifications:   BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross Required)
  • Experience : 1-year current experience 
  • Licensure : Current, unencumbered License to practice as a PA in the State of Georgia 
  • Benefits :   Detailed pay rates and benefits will be outlined in the initial interview phase
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to walk, stand, and bend for 6-8 hours per day
  • Able to distinguish between basic colors
  • Be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
  • Have the strength to push and pull
  • Must be able to read and interpret handwritten and typewritten print
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers in stressful situations
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background investigation and undergo urine drug testing
  • Advanced medical and anatomical skills
  • Knowledge of general surgery practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong motor skills and manual dexterity
  • Ability to work long and irregular hours
  • Advanced analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm and focused on stressful situations
  • Organizational and time management skills
